LinkedIn launches Virtual Events for Pages

In-person events are on hold as the world deals with COVID-19. That’s why LinkedIn is introducing Virtual Events as a solution for Pages. According to LinkedIn, Virtual Events are a combination of LinkedIn Live and LinkedIn Events that are designed to help Pages strengthen relationships with more targeted audiences.

Instagram launches the ability to share live broadcasts to IGTV

While the feature has been rolling out for the last few weeks, Instagram has officially announced that all users can now save their Instagram Live broadcasts to IGTV. Saving broadcasts to IGTV will keep the broadcast available for as long as the user wants it to be.

Snapchat updates analytics layout

Snapchat is rolling out an update to the in-app analytics for creator accounts. The new layout gives creators more specific insights into the performance of each Snap and makes it easier to understand how the data relates.

Instagram introduces new anti-bullying measures

Instagram has announced new tools designed to give users more control over their experience on the platform and reduce the impact of trolls and abusive comments. The new measures include the ability to bulk remove comments, bulk block accounts, pin comments and restrict mentions.

Retweet with Comment now counts towards original Tweet engagement 

Until now, Retweets with Comments have been counted as their own Tweet. But now Retweets with Comments will count towards the engagement stats of the original Tweet. Users will be able to see all Retweets and Retweets with Comments in a new listing which can be found by clicking on ‘Retweets’.
