Facebook will start limiting the number of ads a Page can run

Facebook has announced that from 2021 the number of ads Pages can run at once will be limited by their ad spend in the previous 12 months. The limit “will help advertisers reduce costs and improve performance” says Facebook. The limits will come in four tiers starting from 250 ads for small to medium advertisers.

Twitch makes Watch Parties available globally

After running tests with a small group of creators, Twitch is now rolling out Watch Parties to all users worldwide. Not dissimilar to Facebook’s Watch Party, creators will be able to share their screen and watch movies or TV shows on Prime Video with other users.

Instagram tests variations of the navigation bar

After trialing a dedicated Reels tab in select regions, Instagram is now testing new variations of the navigation bar in all regions where Reels is available. The variations include new ‘Shops’ and ‘Reels’ tabs on the lower navigation bar with the ‘Search’, ‘Activity’ and/or ‘Create’ buttons moved to the top to make room.
