Snapchat launches ‘Dynamic Stories’ for news publishers
Snapchat is launching a new Dynamic Stories feature, which will enable partner publishers to link their content feed into the platform. Their content creator’s RSS feed will be used to automatically source content and create Stories from their web content.

Instagram removes in-stream video ad placements
Instagram has removed in-stream video ad placements as an option in the app. Instead, advertisers are being told to use Reels placement as an alternative for video ads.

YouTube and TikTok add automated caption options
YouTube has announced that creators can outsource the creation and editing of subtitles, within the YouTube Studio app. TikTok will be making auto-titles accessible on all clips, with the default to be English auto-captions available on all uploads going forward.
