Meta is launching new creator monetisation opportunities, and new tools to facilitate content creation. These opportunities will include monthly fan subscriptions for all eligible Instagram creators in the US at first. In addition, NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) will be launched on Instagram Reels, allowing viewers to send virtual ‘gifts’ to Reel creators.

Google is adding new shopping assistance tools just in time for the holidays, by integrating coupon codes and promotions into product search results. This will help people connect with seasonal offers and deals, without having to search elsewhere for the relevant information.

Snapchat announces virtual try-on AR partnership with Amazon

Snapchat adds another feature to its innovative app, via a new partnership with Amazon, named ‘Amazon Fashion’. Viewers will have the ability to virtually try thousands of Amazon’s top-selling eyewear through an added ‘Snap Lense’ for virtual try-on, essentially making it easier for people to try before they buy.

Musk flags new $8 monthly fee for Twitter Blue package

Elon Musk outlines that the app is now planning to offer verification ticks to all users for a cost of $8 per month, with the aim of combating the class divide within the Twitter app. Within the package you will receive additional features such as priority in replies, mentions and search, the ability to post longer videos, and half as many ads visible.
