Microsoft has invested $14 billion in OpenAI, the company that owns the GPT-3 language model, which powers ChatGPT. The investment will also fund the development of a pro version aimed towards businesses, which will include more advanced features and abilities. OpenAI said the partnership with Microsoft will also help deliver AI-based solutions to more people and organisations around the world.

Meta has launched a new business certification process to give an opportunity to showcase Meta marketing expertise to prospective clients. There are five different certifications, covering media, marketing science, creative strategy, community management, and Meta Spark.

LinkedIn shares new data on engagement and ad performance

LinkedIn has shared new data on engagement and ad performance on its platform, highlighting the best times to post, the most engaging types of content, and the most effective ad formats. While LinkedIn doesn’t release its performance reports, through this infographic they are highlighting the growth they have achieved in the past year.

Meta launches new rights manager mini-site

Meta has launched a new tool called the “Brand Rights Manager”, which allows brands to easily identify and report any misuse of their intellectual property on Meta. The tool includes a search function brands can use to search for specific keywords or terms, help brands protect their intellectual property, and prevent their content from being used without their permission.
